For Stake Conference in the singles ward here we had a special conference in the Marriott Center where Elder Russel M. Nelson came and spoke to us. Because Kenna was fidgety, Brandin was standing on the edge bouncing her. After the conference was over we were getting ready to leave when Elder Nelson came over to us with his wife and started talking to us and asked if he could hold Kenna. He held her for a bit and told us that his great granddaughter was also named Makenna, and then gave her back and went on his way. Afterwards people asked me if I took a pict, and I had totally spaced it because it was so unexpected. Someone pointed out a guy that had been on the other side of the stairs and said that he had taken a pict. So I asked security (since we were not allowed down there) if he would go and ask the guy to come over to me. He did and the guy emailed me this pict, He took it just as Brandin was handing Kenna down to Elder Nelson. Sad I do not have a better pict, but still happy that I got something!
After going to the library for the past 3 years now, Carter and I finally decided he could be responsible with books and he got his very own library card! He was so excited. Now we go once a week to the preschool time, then he gets to play on the computers there for an hour, and then he gets to pick out some books and check them out and take them home. Needless to say, Thursday's are a big day in our house :)

One day she was so tired and refused to take a nap, as soon as Brandin came home to watch the BYU football game she passed out on him, and it looks so uncomfy!

Sadly Kenna's feet have grown and most of the shoes that she was given no longer fit. (insert sad sigh here) so I had to take a picture of all of the cuteness before boxing most of them away to never see the light of day again.
