This month I have done a bad job of keeping my picts caught up, so they are going to go together in one big post. :)
Carter had swim lessons again this month, and he learned to float on his back and swim with his face in the water for a couple of seconds. Good job Carter!
Carter was born with sabacious nevus, which is a form of melanoma that would change and possibly harm him once he grows up and his hormones go crazy. When he was born we were told to wait until he was 5 and have it removed then. Since Carter is starting kindergarten in the fall, and we have a move going on in the middle of that, we decided to get it done while we are in Utah. We met with a plastic surgeon at Primary's Children hospital and scheduled the surgery. The surgery went well, although we learned that Carter is super grumpy when he wakes up from meds. lol

His face before surgery. .
Puppy got a bracelet just like mommy and daddy so he could come and see Carter too.
Carter recovering afterwards.
Getting wheeled out to the car.
His face afterwards.
All he wanted on the way home was pancakes, so we randomly chose a diner and they had puppy pancakes. It helped make a drugged 5 year old feel much better :)
A couple of days after the surgery I went to Colorado to help with the valentines day flower rush. The kids were suppose to come with me and stay with grandma, but Kynlie had bronchitis and my mother-in-law had strep. Ugh. So Brandin was the lucky one that got to keep the kids all by himself! (snicker snicker) Thankfully he did an amazing job and the kids didn't even miss me.

My lil sis (she is 15) drew this pict on a 20x30 canvas for Kenna's room. So beautiful!!!
Kenna thinks it is so much fun to climb behind the sofa. And get stuck. and scream.
Brandin is so sweet and every year he makes me a delicious valentines dinner. This year it was steak and lobster tail! I am one spoiled girl!!!
Carter has had a rough month. We went to the dentist and Carter had some cavities, so they wanted to try and give him some meds that calm most kids down. Lets just say Carter did not react the way they were hoping. He went from chipper and happy, to ballistic and all out freak out mode in the office. There was no way his teeth were getting drilled, so we rescheduled for 2 weeks later and decided that the only option was to completely sedate him with an IV. Once given the original shot Carter was OUT! They said that he still moved a little bit, but overall things went smoothly. When I was able to go back to him he looked like this. . .
Druggie! lol. It took him a little while to wake up, and when he did he was one mad mad little boy!

And for the last week of FEB Brandin and I are going to Houston!!! We are going to pick out colors for our house and enjoy some time free of kids! Thank you to my sis and Laura for taking care of my kiddos while we are gone. Can't wait!!
