Vegas Baby!!!

After going to Shark Reef we decided to walk down the strip and check out all of the cool stuff! We ended up walking for 7 hours, until 1 am (poor carter, he took it like a champ and never cried once, although Brandin had to carry him for the last couple hours) and still didn't see everything there! Oh well, we saw the highlights and things that I wanted to see the most, and enjoyed out time going slow and checking things out at leisure. I have never been gambling and wanted to be able to say that I had gambled one in Vegas, so I tried the quarter slots, and lost 2 dollars. That is the end of gambling for me! lol. Brandin put in a dollar, and ended up winning 6! Oh well, at least we walked away making money instead of losing it, even though I didn't win it :(

The MGM, we went inside for a min but it was all under construction and wasn't very pretty.

Prob Carters fav part of the whole trip.. . .  4 floors of M&M's!!! Brandin even let Carter pick out the color of M&M's he wanted. .  so we ended up eating blue M&M's for hours! ha ha

So many choices!

Sometimes this boy has such a punk little smile. . it worries me for what his teenage years might be like.. . ha ha

Carter thought he had to pose with EVERY single M&M in the store, and with 4 stories there were a lot of them!

They had a 3D movie about the red and yellow M&M, and it was free so we thought what the heck!

It was a silly movie that Carter liked, even though he woudn't keep his glasses on through the movie.

In the Bellagio they have the worlds largest chocolate fountain!

The gardens at the Bellagio. Out of all of the hotels there, the Bellagio was def my favorite, both the inside and out!

Ceasers palace comes as a close 2nd or 3rd place, it was so pretty inside!

I love how the cealing was painted to make you feel like you are outside. I took this pict around 11:30 at night, and yet it feels like it should be the middle of the day!

Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay in Vegas

 

 

 

We were heading down to AZ for Daniels wedding and decided to take a detour through Vegas because I haven't been there in years and have been wanting to go  for a long time.. . We started walking down the strip and decided to go to the Shark Reef in the Mandalay Bay hotel. . . Carter thought it was awesome and we spent 2 hours in there wandering around checking out his "Sharks" I would have to say that going to Shark Reef was a success!!!!!

All of the landscaping was done so well. . I was VERY surprised! It was beautiful in there. .

They had a tunnel that was completely surrounded with the aquarium and you could watch sharks swim above you. So cool!
