Catch Up

Life has been so busy, I have not updated my blog in a month. Get ready for a 60 pict overload!

Orange Leaf, Carters favorite place ever! Guess you can guess which one is mine and which is Carters. haha
Carter's class had a tacky the penguin week, and he decided to dress up mismatch for the occasion.
All of the kids made their own soda bottle penguin

Our grocery store has child carts, and every time we go grocery shopping it's like a caravan following me around. ha ha.
 Family night at Orange Leaf
Carter's school did a race day. Carter did 35 laps!

Brandin built this desk from scratch for me!!
 And this bookcase
Carter lost a tooth and had been begging for a jump rope for a while, so the tooth fairy was nice and brought him one. Kenna just had to be in the picture with him.

My brother came and visited us for a couple days!

Kenna after getting her 24mo shots. Blankies and pillows and animals galore to keep her happy. ha ha

Party on march 14th for Pi day!
Kiddos playing good together on a sat morning.
Happy birthday Kenna! These are her two year old picts.

Kenna's birthday party was minnie mouse themed, because, well, this little girl is obsessed!

I didn't get any picts while the party was going, but she had Annie Jane Ostler, Nolan Tanner, and our neighbors Sofia and Vivienne over to play and color and eat!
This year our play group did a valentines day party. These are Kenna's Valentines presents. They say " I think you are awesome-sauce valentine. Love Kenna" precious.
Kenna all dressed up and ready to go to her party!

The kiddos playing and eating together.

For Carter it was a little more tricky, because no food items were allowed in class. So these are the valentines we made for him. They say 'I think you are a-doh-able, your friend, Carter'. Then we gave each kid a small play-dough. Carter loved them so I consider it a success!

 Happy St. Patty's day!!!
For Easter we hit up a few easter egg hunts. The first one was at the orange show, and it was a mass collage of artwork at a playground. This place was crazy, and had a peep competition along with the easter egg hunt.

 Kenna collecting eggs

Carter was a part of the older group, and their eggs were hidden in this weird place. Sadly, Carter did not find any eggs, and thankfully Kenna shared half of her basket with Carter.
At the second easter egg hunt that day there were lots of characters dressed up. Sadly my kids did not want any part of it, but I did force them to get a pict with the Easter Bunny.
This place was crazy and had 50,000 eggs on the field. We got there early enough to be in the very front touching the field, so Carter had better luck this go around. There was also a helicopter that came through and dropped 400 pounds of candy on the field. Carter was so excited!

The kiddo's showing off their riches!
Carter's buddy Nicoli (our neighbor) came over and decorated eggs with Carter.
Sunday morning we hid the kids Easter baskets, and then let them play with their toys before church. Carter got a collection of legos and a bubble gun. . .
and Kenna got my little ponies, Sofia the first, and a bubble gun.
The bubble guns ended up being the coolest present, which makes Brandin extra happy because he chose them and I told him the kids wouldn't care. Ha ha, guess I was wrong.
All dressed up and ready for Church!
After church we had the Tanners, Curtis's, and Hardins over to hunt eggs at our house. Between the eggs I had bought and stuffed, the eggs we got from the day before that I reused, the smash eggs, and the eggs that we hardboiled and decorated, we had about 500 eggs hidden around our house. It was fun because we had three toddlers finding the easy eggs, and three older kids finding the harder hidden eggs. There was enough eggs for no fighting and happy kids!

Kenna, Trey, and Nolan playing with their findings.

Brandin and I being silly at Trey's birthday party!
Brandin and Kenna all dressed up and ready to party!

Spring Break!! sadly for Carter I was in the middle of finals, so he had to entertain himself and Kenna the week he was home for spring Break. She loved having him home to play with!

 More kenna hair!
One day I went with Krystal and Alexandra to the woodlands children museum. The kids had so much fun playing with all of the stuff they have there!

 more hair!
Carter has been working on earning up his rewards (cougar cash) to eat with the teacher. It took him over a month and a lot of sacrifice but he did it! I took him in an hour before school starts and miss Mcdonald had donuts and chocolate milk for Carter and the two other girls that earned it as well.
 Carter's artistic work. Haha
Alexandra, me, and Krystal making magnolia wreaths while watching fixer upper.
While I was working on setting up for Enrichment night Brandin and the kids went out and partied at Orange Leaf

Brandin and the kids playing. This is what I found when I came into the room. HAHA

Our neighbor Sofia had her birthday party at a painting studio, and all of the kids got to paint a canvas. It was super cute and Carter had so much fun!

 All done!
He was the only boy there. lol
In class they are learning about recycling and next week it will be dinosaurs, so they were asked to make a recycle-a-saurus. This is what we ended up doing.

During the making of the dino, carter ran into the grill outside and gashed open his eyebrow. Thankfully new skin did the trick, so now he just has a gash on his forehead.
 Kenna being a goofball.
