Havin us some fun in the leaves!! :)

I just added this photo in here. . my fall table centerpiece makes me happy! :)

The groundskeepers here at Wymount had blown all of the leaves into huge piles, and what kid (or adult) can resist that??? Carter ran upstairs and got Emily so they could play together! Once we walked all the way down the hill there were a lot of his friends playing down there too! Needless to say when we came home our floor was immediately covered in a couple inches of leaves! lol. . .

Judith also loves the leaves. . so she came and played too :)

The first snow!

So it is getting cold here fast and even though it was only the middle of Oct we already had our first snow!! Emily wanted to come play with Carter, so I brought Emily along and outside we went!!

Orange and Black

Since it is Halloween Carter told me we had to wear orange and black! Yes sir! So I found the ONLY orange tank top I own, and a black cardigan, and he made us go through his closet until he found what he considered to be Halloweeny enough! Lol. Then he made us take picts :) He is one funny boy with such a goofy personality! I love it!!

Sunday evening we went outside to go for a walk, but Carter found Steven at the playground and that was the end of the walk! ha ha. The rest of the daylight was spent playing in the leaves!!!

Monday Wymount had a Trunk or Treat, so we got the kids dressed up and walked down there. . .

When we got there only one car (out of 45 that had signed up) showed up to hand out candy!! I had to take a pict because it was so funny! Each kid only got 1 piece of candy, and the kids were still pouring down the hill!!! ha ha ha

later that night Brandin and I took Carter to the pumpkin patch. They had a bouncy castle and Carter had fun trying to climb to the top!

The pumpkin patch is right next to the train tracks, and Carter didn't like the sound of the train as it went past! :)

Ward Halloween Party!

Ellen did so much work and put together our ward halloween party! She had asked me to come help set up and get decorations made, so we made 3 trash can spiders and then blew up quite a few balloons and hung them up! mary also did a lot to help get everything set up. . and these ladies did a great job because it looked wonderful! There was also a chili cook off, games for the kids and adults, and a photo booth!

This is one of the many trips Brandin made to the chili line. . he had to try them all out to see which one he liked best! lol. (if you're not sure which one is him. . just look for the bright red jumpsuit! lol)

Oh yeah!! We took first for couples contest!! We had 8 votes, and the person who got second had 3. GO US!!! :)

Joey and Arlen came in second! Good job Arlen!! :) She made her costume out of her curtain!

More of the decor! ha ha. Once the kids found out that we had put candy in the balloons to help weigh it down clean up was a breeze because they popped them all for us :)
