Funeral for Jim

 

 

My old boss at the flower shop called to tell me that her brother had passed away and she wanted me to come and put the flowers together for the funeral. . . so I took some picts of what I made. . .

 

 

This is a toy barn that he had played with when he was a child.

 

 

 

He owned a gravel yard so I used kid trucks and put rocks on them being pushed. .

 

The casket piece. There were over 100 red roses in there. .

 

Everything all put together for the service.

Yeah.  . .so does this pict look like total chaos or what??? This is what happened when I put Carter down for a "nap" . It only took him about 20 min :) Yes his dressers are away from the wall . .  and yes that is his mattress on the floor under everything else. Oh the joys of having a boy!! (or at least this boy:)

 

 

Lots of snow!!

We were hit with our first big storm of the year. . and while I HATE The cold, Carter loves the snow so I man-ed up (is that even a real word?) and took him out to play. Once Brandin was done with most of his homework we convinced him to be irresponsible and come play with us!!

 

This is how much snow there was still on the car after Brandin was done cleaning it off. .

Snow and sick

So we get snow on the day that I have the flu. . . which makes for a very unhappy Carter! I took this pict when the snow had first started. . . he was so excited to watch it come down!

 

 

 

 

But once he realized that sick mommy means "I get to watch sesame street and curious george all day" his day was all better!

My baby

Well, he's not really a baby anymore. . but to me he will always be my baby :) We walked through Old Navy today while running errends, and they were giving out balloons, what little kid wouldn't be happy about that? So he has been running around all evening with his balloon, being crazy!

 

 

 

 

I was watching Emma the other day, and this is what they did through the whole movie of up! It was quite nice :)
