Carter's room

 

So since Carter trashed him room last I decided if I rearrange his room maybe I can prevent it from being trashed. . . so I wedged his bed and dressers on the smaller wall and now I don't think even I could get those dressers out if I want to! Your move Carter. . . . ha ha.

 

On a side note. . I just made those curtains! I think they match his room and the fabric was SUPER cheap at wally world. What do you think?

and lately he refuses to sleep in his bed, he HAS to sleep in his Lightening McQueen tent.

2nd Thanksgiving!

Since Simon and Judith were left alone for Thanksgiving, they wanted to have an American Thanksgiving with their friends before they go back to Scotland. So Monday for FHE we all baked up a storm and had a feast!! The Ovando's, Beveridges, Lavayens, and James all came over to our place and ate and ate!

 

The homemade pies that Judith made!! She is one great cook!

 

 

 

Sadly I didn't take picts of the food until AFTER we had eaten. . . so these are our leftovers! lol

 

We had so much food it covered the table...stove...and countertops! (ok, in these apts that's not hard to do lol)

Carter and Friends

Emily moves back to Scotland in less than a week now. . . I don't know what Carter's going to do with her gone. :( They are best friends and do so much together. .

 

They decided to read books together when she came down to play. .

Christmas Decor

Since I'm only home for 2 weeks in between Thanksgiving and Christmas I got all my Christmas decor up as soon as I got home. . .

Thanksgiving 2012

 

This year for Thanksgiving Brandins fam was doing a big dinner since Brandin's little brother is leaving on his mission the middle of Dec and the whole fam won't be all together again for 2 years. The day was full of food and fun, sadly I didn't take any picts :(  Then after dinner we went black friday shopping ( can it even be called black "friday" when we went Thurs night at 8 and was home by 11?) We went with Shell, Tyler, Danny-boy and Krystal. It was nice because we were able to do all of Carters Christmas shopping, and we got a toon of movies to boot! wahoo!! I love getting cheap movies. Then the next day we had a Birthday part for my dad in law and Grandma (Brandin's mom) wanted a Christmas tree all decorated with stuff made by all of her grandkids ( and Holli) I did take picts of them gathered making crafts for the tree. . . What a lucky boy he is to have such amazing Grandmas!!

Funeral for Jim

 

 

My old boss at the flower shop called to tell me that her brother had passed away and she wanted me to come and put the flowers together for the funeral. . . so I took some picts of what I made. . .

 

 

This is a toy barn that he had played with when he was a child.

 

 

 

He owned a gravel yard so I used kid trucks and put rocks on them being pushed. .

Yeah.  . .so does this pict look like total chaos or what??? This is what happened when I put Carter down for a "nap" . It only took him about 20 min :) Yes his dressers are away from the wall . .  and yes that is his mattress on the floor under everything else. Oh the joys of having a boy!! (or at least this boy:)
