This past month has been chaos, and there is not an end is sight just yet! Here are the picture highlights. . .
First and most important. . Brandin started his job! He was not very happy posing for me, but he loves me and knew he wouldn't get out of it so here is a pict of him humoring me! lol.
All dressed and ready to go to work!
While we have been waiting for our house to be completed, Brandin's job has an apartment that they allowed us to stay in for a month, rent free I might add!

This entire month has been full of rain! One night we had 12 inches of rain, and tornado warnings! The lightening was intense, and a lot of Houston was flooded and damage galore. Thankfully the apt that we are in and our house that is being built were not in the flood areas, and after the storm we went exploring and found some "wetlands" that Houston has to offer.
Carter lost his first tooth!!!! He is officially a big boy!
We went into a furniture store looking for sofa's, and found so much more than we had anticipated! This furniture store was so crazy, they had parrots that were free flying all throughout the store.
And they had 12 mattresses set up for kids to jump on ( looking like the Texas flag of course)
And of course monkeys. Because what furniture store wouldn't have monkeys?
Not pictured from the furniture store is an entire playground with big slides, and so many large rooms full of furniture, think Ikea size. They were also the most friendly staff we have come across, we will be going back when we are serious about buying furniture.
We went and visited the temple! Our crazy face selfie.
One day we decided to go explore and we ended up at Herriman park, which is within walking distance to the zoo. It was so pretty and green! I can't get over how green Houston is.
There is a park/splash pad just down the street from our apt, and we have gone there a few times.
Carter climbing up their rock wall.
Kenna thinks it is super cool to drink out of the doggie water fountain.
Kiddo's playing at the splash pad at the park
We closed on our house last Friday! It is finally official!!!
The kids have loved running around outside in our backyard!
The house!
Right now Brandin is in Utah meeting with the movers to get all of our stuff brought down here. All of our stuff should arrive within a week from now! I can't wait for them to get here, then we can actually move in! It is going to be a busy busy week!
