I am one lucky girl. . to have the love of such am amazing man! He was up until after midnight doing homework and he was up and out of here around 6:30 this morning to go finish his homework so that he could go to his classes and then have to take a physics test. . bleh! And while he is HATING the classes he is in, he is still doing all of this to give our little family a better more secure future. I am so proud of him and all the hard work that he does. Not only is he taking more than a full schedule, he also loses his Sunday's that used to be his only day to relax, because he has Bishopric meeting at 7 in the morning, and doesn't usually get home from church until 2 in the afternoon. And with everything that he has going on, he still takes out the trash and helps me with whatever I ask him to when he is home.
Brandin is also a great dad! Carter cries when Brandin leaves because he loves him so much! I guess I'm not very good at playing "cars" because when I try Carter just tells me know and waits for Brandin to come home so that daddy can play "the right way" lol. These two are so cute to watch together! They love to rough house and be crazy, and they also like to snuggle up and read a good book together( which in Carter's mind means green eggs and ham half a dozen times lol)
I was talking to one of my friends that needed help setting her TV up, and I thought it was so weird that her and her hubby couldn't just do it. I take for granted that Brandin can do all of those things for us, because I know I can't! From my problems on my computer, to taking a run down old house and completely remodeling it and ripping walls and sealings out and putting it all back together to make it look wonderful, to knowing what is wrong with our car just by looking at it. . I am in awe with all of the knowledge that boy has in his head.
Even from the first day when I was actually willing to get to know Brandin (we HATED each other right at first, and that lasted for a month) I have always trusted him and I know that I never have to question anything he tells me. . because he is always telling the truth and is 100% loyal to me. . And I never thought about this as even being something I would have to include as something out of the norm for most people. . . but I think I have more friends right now that are getting divorced than I do that are married, many of which have kids or are others on the verge of getting divorced. . and it makes me feel so lucky to know that we don't have those kind of problems!
We needed to renew our temple recommends this week so last night we went down to the stake presidents office and Brandin was able to interview me and sign my bishopric portion of my recommend before going to meet with the stake pres. I want to keep this recommend forever because how often will I have his signature on my temple recommend? It makes me sooooo grateful that I married a man that has the priesthood and same beliefs as me. . . and does his very best to fulfill his callings and help those around him.
Plus, everynight I get to snuggle with my best friend. . . and most of the time we both sleep on my side of the bed, it makes me so happy that even in his sleep he wants to be close to me and hold me because he loves me!!! What more could a girl ask for?? Plus, whenever we fight, he is always the first to make up and apologize, even when the whole thing was my fault. And he is a good sport about me shoving my camera in his face all the time, I think we have over 100 picts of just our faces crooked in the camera. . ha ha!
Ok, I'm done with my ramblings. . . I just wanted this all written down while I was thinking about it!
