This past weekend we went home to Co for Daniel and Krystals open house. Then on Sunday Daniel wanted to take Krystal to the chipmunk house located on the Mesa and we all tagged along. Sorry Daniel!! ha ha. It was a lot of fun though and the view was gorgeous!! The only downside is that these chipmunks are used to having lots of attention (aka spoiled with doritos) so our bread and cherrios that we brought did not tempt them. Oh well, the kids all still had a great time and Carter had never been there before. . . .
Shell and Tyler just bought a new Jeep so they had the top down and Carter rode with them so he could be with cousin Hailey. . .
There is a natural spring that comes out of the mountain side . .

This chipmunk went all the way to Carters hand before turning around. . but I wasn't ready with the camera until it turned and ran away. . oh well!

So everything that is dark in the middle of this pict is Grand Junction, where Brandin and I grew up. .
I had to add this one because it made me laugh. This sign was at the gas station that we filled up at on our way to Provo, I think someone needs to explain to them that WTF does not mean welcome to Fruita. lol
