Since Carter was 6 months old Brandin and I have not been away together overnight, and he is 3 1/2. So needless to say it was about time to have a Brandin and Amber trip. Brandin looked online and found a discount at a gorgeous hotel in Park City. Thankfully my sisters Brittney and Schande were kind enough to come to Utah and watch Carter in out apt for 2 days so we could escape. It was heavenly. . and the best part?? We had our own personal hot tub. Oh yeah! After being on my feet working crazy hours, it was the best thing my poor little feet could ask for. :) We took the whole day wandering through Salt Lake to get there (hello IKEA and City Creek mall!!) and spent the whole night soaking our bodies. Sigh :) Then the next day we strolled the outlet malls. . and took our time coming home the next day. And we went to the dollar theater TWICE while they were here. Man I wish we lived closer to family so we could have a babysitter once in a while. Oh well. This is a happy post and I wont complain:)
