So the day after we came back to AZ after Thanksgiving, I went in to work and found out that 700 people had been laid off at University of Phoenix and I was unfortunately one of them. Brandin had quit work to go to school full time, so that was very stressful news. Thankfully it only took me 2 months to find a job working at another school called Grand Canyon University. But in those 2 months we learned a lot of things. I know that paying tithing is the only thing that helped us get through those rough times. During that time Brandin's family came and stayed with us for Christmas. We also took them to see the Temple lights at the Mesa Az temple.
